I've gone GaGa

RAh RAh Ro-MAH MAH, oooh LA, OH GAGA !!!

I walk around singing this song all day long. At first I was scared of Lady Gaga in the same way that Grace Jones scares the living crap out of me. Androgyny is a quick way to get me to leave the room. Yet, I recently saw an interview that she did on the Fuse channel. Maybe it was because I was delirious from having a tummy bug but she started to make sense to me.

She's like this horrible accident on the side of the freeway. You don't want to look, yet, you can't look away.

So...here ya go. I'm not saying that the lady is not a freakazoid but she's actually articulate. Anyone who is a fan of Andy Warhol is okay by me.

I think she's great. She is a performance artist as much as she is a musical artist and if you look at her that way, there is no weirdness. It just makes sense.

And Andy Warhol? Covers the walls of my den. I have read every book and seen every movie. I. Am. Obsessed. When I was 19, I wanted to be Edie Sedgewick. . . minus the fire, drugs and death of course.

Well put, an accident- you can't- look away. yes, that is her. I don't know though, the couple of times I seen her perform on tv, I wasn't impressed.

I love her and Andy Warhol, too! We had a Warhol exhibit here recently that was awesome.

I have the same song in my head lately and I love it. Might have to cave & get the cd or at least get some iTunes on my iPod. Isn't that the Bad Romance song?

We are taking the girls to Sesame Street Live this morning....wish me luck!

Hey Leigh,
Thanks for saying hi on my blog today. Your blog looks so cute and funny, I'll totally join your tribe if you'll let me. Oh and I noticed you participate in Friday Follow. How ironic that I JUST found that yesterday and gained about 6 new followers! I LOVE the image in your blog header, I totally feel like that and it's only me and the hubs at the moment. I'm out of work right now so I'm sort of a stay at home wife and I enjoy sleeping late (when the dogs will let me.) Thanks again for stopping by! I'm adding you to my favs list.

Actually, this is the first time I really have heard any of her music or even seen her.

Nice mop on her head.
I might workout to her music as long as I don't have to look at her...

I think the allure with Lady GAGA is she speaks to parts of us many don't admit to. We act as if we have no clue what she is talking about when secretly we know EXACTLY what she is talking about lol...

I saw her on Oprah and actually liked what she had to say.

I have to agree with Danielle on this. I watched her doing an interview here in England not that long ago, and she is totally different! I was surprised to see that she actually had a brain...or maybe a very good script writer!
Anyway, I saw her in a completely different light.
And yes, I like Warhol too, but his painting, not too keen on his films!

I just don't get the hair...seriously? She looks like a barbie that my neice got ahold of...along with a pair of scissors and 2 unsupervised minutes....

She is kinda interesting. I like to workout to some of her songs. I really like the Beautiful Dirty Rich song.

I only know who she is because of Launch my Line on Bravo...I am a country girl and apparently way out of the loop in pop culture.

I totally know what you mean.

Did you see her on the Grammy's?

I started out absolutely hating her and wishing she would cease to exist.

Somewhere along the line, she started growing on me like a giant, musical fungus.

Plus, she's got pipes!
