I discovered that being a woman
brings me happiness.
I've filled my home with girly trinkets
and I love to celebrate my femininity.
brings me happiness.
I've filled my home with girly trinkets
and I love to celebrate my femininity.
My home makes me happy.
I put alot of energy into injecting it
with color and sweet vintage finds.
I try to make it a bright and cheerful place to live.
Nature makes me happy.
Overgrown weeds and a tiny rock
collection made it onto my list.
I love to steal moments and notice
the beauty that surrounds me.
I am inspired by the world around me.
I love my crazy family
that is full of boys.
I admire the innocence of my children.
I celebrate that we love each other
unconditionally,
hug freely,
and experience life to it's fullest together.
I think that the most important thing that I learned about myself
is the most simple.
On Day 29 I realized what really makes me happy...
being me.
I've enjoyed this so much that I've decided to make it a weekly post. Every Tuesday I will post a photo of something that makes me happy and I'm going to call it "The Happiness Project". So, be on the look out tomorrow!
You should join in the fun and do it over at your Blog too. We'll take over the Blogsphere with happiness! Be sure to let me know if you post a photo over at your place. I'd love to stop by and admire it!

What a fabulous Idea...I think I might just have to join in the fun....
Making this a weekly thing is a great idea. I have really enjoyed going on this photo journey with you!
Good for you. Being happy with you is the most important thing of all. Although I do think 28 pictures of french fries would be really funny.

I loved this journey with you and i think I will jump on your bandwagon.. We allneed to be reminded some days of the simple stuff and it power over our lives if we simply pay attenion to it..
Really, can I just give you a hug? You give me goosebumps....
Oh, and did you give any thought to letting me live with you? I'm a good babysitter and I have a kid of my own.
My husband? Eh....he probably wouldn't mind....
You are just so dang NICE. I love this post and the picture at the end!!
I feel ashamed that my home isn't filled with many trinkets. We have the occassional candle holder and photo frame but our home is mostly full of things of comfort like books, blankets, stuffed animals (not my choice, btw), and DVDs.
perhaps I should attempt to inject some color into my home.
GREAT idea. I loved this project of yours. Looking forward to Tuesdays!
Love the Happiness Project idea!
I've loved your February posts. Makes me kinda sad March started today, but I'm looking forward to the new Tuesday thing!
Lovely post, Leigh.

And I love the last photo best.
The Happiness Project - I love it! I'm really bad about doing things on a weekly basis, but I really like this idea :) Might join you every now and again.
What you wrote sounds like poetry and it's perfect with the pictures. Your happiness has made me smile :)
you, your home, your boys, all of it = GORGEOUS
I absolutely loved this project and I love that you're making it a regular feature of your blog. I'm still seriously considering doing it too. It's just such a fantastic idea - and a joyful one at that! I want to be a part of the Happiness Project! :)
