Last week there was a horrific crash in our town.
A 2 year old baby boy lost his life in the crash.
It happened 15 cars in front of my husband.
That's a little too close for comfort in my opinion.

It's such a simple thing to do, but can make all the difference. Everyone should wear them.
Also, I'll keep that mother in my thoughts.
I am a big advocate of seat belts, for sure. And in California, you can get a pretty hefty ticket for not wearing one.

That is such a tragedy. I attended the funeral of a 4 year old girl this past week. It is so sad when a little one's life ends, no matter what the circumstances. I will pray for this woman.
What a sad story. I hate when stuff like this happens especially when things could have been prevented.

This is such a sad entry, but I am so glad to hear your husband was ok, and yes 15 cars away is a little to close for comfort.
I do hope that the mother gets better and heals both inside and out from this awful accident. I cannot imagine how she will cope, but hopefully she will find a path to do so and that her son is safe and wrapped in the wings of angels above. This is just so, so sad.
I'll never understand why people don't wear seat belts when it's such an easy thing to do. Thanks for sharing this video.
I know how these things can stick with you. There was one of those highway crosses in Wyoming that said only "A dad and two little boys". Can't get it out of my head years later.

That hurts my heart. Prayers for them, and for you because hearing about it when it is that close to a loved one, it does make it just touch your heart more.
I am so sorry to hear about this tragedy...it is so sad. I can't imagine having to go through something like this. They will definitely be in my prayers.
