The assignment this week at You capture was In the kitchen.
I am not one of those ladies that feels at home in the kitchen.
No, it can be an uncertain place where burners are turned up too high
and sometimes the oven doesn't ever actually get turned on when I attempt to bake.
Many casseroles that I thought were baking were really just sitting
in the oven wondering why it was so cold in there.
I have shown up to more than one social function with an unbaked casserole
and a request for the hostess to turn on her oven.
There is only one thing that makes me feel
like I can pretend to belong in my kitchen...

You look very cute in your kitchen.
Your are so adorable and I love that apron. I have done the same things with casseroles lol.
I love the colors of that picture! I love how you arranged it.
So cute. I think you should compile all your pictures and publish a book!
An apron makes you look very professional.

Love your apron! I'm a firm believer that aprons do two things: inspire us to be in the kitchen and keep the kitchen off our clothes! :)
Great shot!
My problem in the kitchen is not forgetting to turn on the oven but forgetting to take things out!
I love my aprons too :)
as we SPEAK my kitchen is filled with smoke from my attempt to make PANCAKES. and i really really want an apron.
What a fun shot! I am a big fan of cute aprons...wearing one makes me feel like a chef even if i'm just making mac and cheese for my son! :)
Cute apron! Good idea.
Maybe that would even help a dismal cook like me!
=)
I'm jealous of your cute apron. I told my mom we have to make a cute one for me so I can really look like I know what I'm doing in the kitchen :)

Phew - glad I am not the only one with lots of mishaps to share :D But, hey, you totally LOOK the part. That is half the battle - right?
And it's such a cute picture!
I love wearing an apron while I cook or while I prance around the kitchen pretending to be betty crocker making break and bake cookies :)
I have to say that this is one of the best you captures i have seen today LOVE IT!
You look pretty 'at home' in there to me! :)
How adorable! Ok, guess I should try an apron too. Maybe then I'd feel at home in the kitchen. (Eh, probably not.)
That is too cute! My middle child loves to cook so I try to embrace my inner kitchen goddess...
There is definitely something about the aprong that makes the kitchen experience a good one. I can tie mine on and just stand in the kitchen and feel domestic. Even if I do nothing more than empty the dishwasher :o)
funny...but you are not alone. oh, and love the apron
How creative, and what a great apron! I like the fun blue flower in your hair as well.
