Halloween Extravaganza 2010

We started the evening out with a picnic at my Mom's house.
The table was spooky and someone
was on pins and needles to go trick or treating.

By the way, that stinky blog that was lifting my content
was suspended and so...
my kids faces might pop up around here more.
Afterall, the main reason that I have this blog
is to record memories for them.
Even ones where they are pouting.

Koen dressed up as a cowboy and I kept telling him
that no self respecting cowboy would suck on a pacifier
but our lil' buckeroo seems to have a nasty addiction to that thing.
Oh well, at least he's not gambling in the saloon all the time.

Sadly, the only pictures that have of Griffin
in his costume are a blur or only from the back
because he was so spazzy for trick or treating
that he refused to stop and pose for a picture.
Oh well, that's life with a five year old.

The children ran around and had a blast rick or treating.
Koen really got into the spirit and
we could barely keep up with him

as he ran from door to door yelling "Twick or tweat".

It was one of those moments that feels so thrilling because

we were witnessing yet another "first".
The first Halloween that Koen ran around screaming with excitement.

The night was all that Halloween should be for a kid.
We had a hauntingly great time.

I am so pleased, they look like they had a ball, and I hope the blog that was copying you goes back to the demon place that they belong!

Awesome pictures!!! Reading your blog has made me so excited to have a little boy. I can't wait to dress him up as a cowboy and watch him run around for the first time squealing at Halloween.

Looks like you guys had a great time. I LOVE the ghost shot. Super cool.

Cool ghost. Sometimes it's just so satisfying you'll break character for a good binky!

Those boys! What fun! Happiest halloween ever! Now, if we can just survive those post-Halloween candy highs!
