The Greatest Thing You Will Ever Learn, Is Just to love, and Be Loved in Return.

My Valentine's wish is for Roger to
come busting through the door after work
and serenade me
in the kitchen while I finish cooking dinner.

Preferably, he'd reenact my favorite scene from
the best movie ever...
Moulin Rouge.

I want it to rain glitter
and I want to dance on a rooftop in Paris.
I want to be scantily clad
and have the moon sing for us
while we twirl in the fog.

Sigh...

A girl can dream...

I hope that y'all know that I couldn't
quite possibly really expect this to happen.
Yes I do
...wait, no I don't
(I totally do)
not really
(but I do).

Happy Valentine's Day!!

I have those same feelings....I just got through writing about how disfunctional my own Valentine's Morning was....But yet even though it was nothing like a movie it left my heart pitter pattering.... :)

Dream away...it just might happen someday! Maybe he'll read this and get the hint. Anyway, happy Valentine's Day to you!

We've all seen too many movies. We want our REAL life to be like REEL life, and unfortunately, it doesn't work that way. If it did, Harrison Ford would have taken me away in Millennium Falcon, YEARS ago! ;)

Hope you still have a great Valentine's Day!

You've been in my thoughts a lot a this week-end, but relax - it wasn't in a Vaentiney way :) This love business was so much easier back in elementary school!

That is one of my very favorite movies. I think it didn't get as much acclaim as it deserved.
How amazing is this scene?? When I watch it I am convinced that Nicole Kidman and Ewan Mcgregor HAD to have felt something while filming that.
We both have our moments here, but I am a hopeless romantic. I've found that it's okay for me to be that way, although our culture would have us expect something else.
Happy Valentine's Day to you and your beautiful family.
xoxo from Maryland. :)

I'm pretty sure it's in the cards for you today.

Or not.

But it definitely should be!

;)

PS. This is my son's favorite movie. Poor guy. He doesn't even HAVE a valentine this year.

I always tell my husband that if Christian from Moulin Rouge showed up at our doorstep to sweep me away, I would actually consider it.
