To drink: Bees Knees Cocktail
* 1 oz honey syrup
* 1/2 jigger gin
* 1 oz freshly squeezed lemon juice
* 1 oz freshly squeezed orange juice

Fresh Figs With Feta Cheese, Pistachio, Honey, And Pita Bread

Ingredients
6 Fresh Black Mission Figs, washed and halved
Crumbled Feta Cheese
Honey
6 Whole Toasted Pitas
Raw Pistachio, lightly chopped
Mint leaves
Scattered some feta cheese on each pita
and top with a fig half.
Drizzle some honey, top with pistachio
and garnish with mint leaves.

Nice menu. I don't know if True Grit is as romantic as the food you prepared, but I do love me some Coen Brothers movies.
We watched True Grit the other night. We loved it too. Our food wasn't nearly as good. Oreos and milk.

i meant to post today but sadly, i haven't been able to post anything. oliver has been a wild man. boys are a whole different story--i never knew! he actually crawled INTO the dishwasher today while i was unloading it! :)
p.s. he is totally fine, by the way. it was just wild that he 1. figured out how to get in and 2. did it so fast!

OMG Leigh, I'm not kidding when I say I tried the Bees nees for the first time on Friday when I was out and then we watched True Grit when we got home. So weird! :) lol
How fantastic!! The food looks and sounds yummy and I hear the movie is really good! I love date nights! Even sitting in the dark with a chilled bottle of wine is awesome ;O)
