I've heard experts say its best to follow the lead of the child and jus share "enough information" about the event that won't overwhelm them. Also it's important to make them feel safe. However from my adult perspective... Just heartbreaking and tragic. may proper steps be taken to cut through some if the red tape involved in getting mental illness help as a result of this loss.
