52 Weeks of Happiness :: Week 49

My husband has collected every game system
starting with Atari and ending at Xbox 360.

He's made the decision to sell them on eBay.
This is cathartic decision because he's been
holding onto them for so long.

It's time to clear out old stuff
and make room for new stuff.

Anyway, the boys were in heaven over the weekend
because we pulled out all the vintage consoles
and they became our official testers
to make sure that the system still functioned.

It was SO fun to share our childhood games with them.
Pac man, Pitfall, Kaboom.

It was the funnest day ever.

It's not everyday that your parents
let you play video games all day long.

I'll be that was kinda hard for him to let go of those games.

Made easier, perhaps, by enjoying them one last time with his sons...

=)

We haven't gotten out the original super mario brothers in awhile...this might be a push in that direction!
