I am feeling a bit sentimental at the end of 2009.
It was a big year for me.
So please, indulge my nostalgic heart
as I journey through the last year through Blog posts.
So please, indulge my nostalgic heart

and trudging through a very hard time.
My older brother was going through a divorce
and my mom left to help him rebuild his life in Colorado.
She is a huge a support for me
and in her absence all hell broke loose.
We had bouts of sickness
and then I had a scare
that landed me in the Emergency Room.

I took the time to enjoy the first signs of spring,
grappled with pregnancy hormones,
counted my blessings,
and even found moments of laughter.

and so excited to have my mom return from Colorado.
Enjoying the last few moments that
I had with Griffin before the baby arrived.
Getting the nursery in order and nesting.
Settling on a name for the baby,
and waddling around like a beached whale.
Tune in tomorrow to watch the chaos unfold!

I like strolling through the past year, it helps me catch up with your blog.
I love your vintage pictures!
Where do you find them?
I really need to make a button for my blog and haven't had any luck...

Hey, what part of Colorado. I live here and you could come visit. You know, the 2 birds with 1 stone thing! :)
I wasn't following you (or reading blogs) back then, so this was cool to see what happened back then. thanks!
What a great idea to go back over the last year! As a new-ish reader (the last three months or so) I'm looking forward to seeing how this will unfold :)
How cool of an idea... Love it
