Oh I love those little silver looking buttons.. my mom has this old tin full of buttons from 30+ years of saving them. AS a little girl I would get this tin out and a ladel and some bowls and play kitchen with button soup lol
aren't buttons, beads, ribbons the best? thanks so much for stopping by my blog and leaving comments on my SITS day. I made an illustration for my book of a woman faced with several overflowing laundry baskets, so know the feeling of hating that housework!
I love bits and pieces like that...and I have a tin full of old buttons too! I used to play with the buttons when I was a child, but it just got passed down. There are bone buttons, cloth buttons, metal and wooden, all sorts of delights are in this tin!
My name is Leigh and this blog follows my misadventures as a stay at home mom. Read as I juggle housework, motherhood, creativity, and delusions of grandeur. I am inept throwback to the 1950′s housewife, so this blog gives a modern twist to a retro lifestyle. With a focus on the drama and joys of everyday life, sometimes heartfelt but usually hilarious observations unfold. All the while my ignored laundry pile grows by leaps and bounds.

You have done so well with your 28 days of happiness. I'm impressed. I never could have kept it up.
or waiting for my son to throw all over the place....(if that was in house, of course...) lol
This is such a great idea. It's so great I've added your button to my blog.
and also, ages ago I wrote an Ode to Laundry that seems apropo. Also, I don't know if I spelled that right.
You are rocking your 28 days...love the positivity.
I never know what to do with my buttons...don't ever think of sewing with them, go figure!
I'm going to be really sad when Feb. is over....

I want to see what you make with all of that.

I miss sewing. I gave it up for blogging, you know.
