Freakshow Friday: Playing Possum Edition

It's time for another installment of Freakshow Friday. Where I ask my readers to come up with a caption or story for a photo taken from Awkward Family Photos. My best friend will be the judge and she's one hilarious freakaziod. So, bring it! Here is the week's photo, being that I'm headed to the mountains, I thought that I would select a photo of the type of folks I might be encountering when we stop at the gas station.

Helmer loved that possum more than he loved his two boys.

You got a better one for me?

If so, you may just when this awesome award
and have bragging rights forever.

If you win then I'll linkup to your
Blog and make a big deal
about how funny you are.
Simply leave your funny caption or story
in my comments section.

The winner will be announced on Monday.

It was a man's man weekend, complete with a possum with pretty lips and a cute little button nose....

After the hunting accident, they couldn't find cousin Jeb's arm, so they just sewed on a stuffed animal on instead! Although this ended his career as a hand model, it did allow him to do quite amusing puppet shows!

Bubba misundersttod when they said multigenerational and thought they meant multispecies and brought his bestest friend for the picture.

Buddy, the possum, was part of the family portrait and later he was dinner too.

Mortified to be in this picture, young Jimmy Ray wishes that he, too, had the ability to play dead.

Dressed to kill, the boys hit the town in search of some Saturday Night Beaver!

After momma passed, Bubba and Jim Bob kept the family fed as best they could. After thinkin' the possums were pets, the boys broke down every time they had dinner...

That one guy is so hot I didn't even notice that opossum, at first. I'd love to snuggle up to that vest and stair into those big sexy glasses. Lucky opossum.
