Roger has the week off from work and this is exactly what is going on inside my home.

We need to make a few changes though
to make it more realistic.
First off, imagine that the little girl
is a 20 month old boy
that is trying to throw the lamp on the floor.

Then, the newspaper should be a Wii controller.

Oh, and the happy pets should be two cranky cats curled up on the porch.

Other than that,
we look just like this sweet family.

You wearing that blue ribbon in your hair too? My family looks just exactly like that picture too. Well, except that I would be in sweats, a pile of dirty laundry on the floor and that window would need a good cleaning, yup, other than that, that's us exactly.

Hmm...I'm single, at work, writing, wishing I had a week off! :)

Hope you keep sane with your family- enjoy it!

Love it! We'd probably have this, too, except grandma is here to visit and spoil us all!

Hah! So with you - and I love the picture. Hubby hasn't had time off but kids have...and oh my, that Wii remote is getting more use than it ever has.

Here's to that cup of coffee.

My husband had taken the week off but ended up having to go back today anyway.

*sigh*

Enjoy having your Wii-playing guy home for a few days! (And keep making those Norman Rockwell memories.)

heehee

Hey, that's what we look like to, although instead of the teapot and cup, it's a computer. And the pets are actually piles of toys and laundry. But yeah, exactly spot on.

Ha!!! I love it!! In our world the newspaper would be a laptop and the children would literally be swinging from the curtains.

p.s. I was in your neck of the woods this past week (well about an hour or so away). Thought of you and your crew and wished we had more time to plan a playdate. :)

HA! I can never get anything accomplished when my hubby is off. The house is dirtier than ever when he is around! LOL! :)

nice norman rockwell-ish vision. but here? there'd be cat (dog) barf on the floor, toys strewn about, dishes in the sink, and mommy and daddy with angry faces and lots of yelling. tears on children's cheeks. you know the drill.
