While we were at the Plantation last weekend I was quite taken
by all of the sweet treasures that were hiding in the brush.
Amidst all of the rugged landscape were cute dried up blossoms
and feathery stalks that swayed in the wind.

Then, after the rain washed through,
I went down to the pond and found
a drenched world in the marsh that looked so dreamy.

I just had to share these sweet little things with you.

Really pretty images, very soft and dreamy.
OHhh I love nature after a rain. So many things that catch our eye
I've never seen anything like those. I'm a western girl though...so there's a lot I haven't seen.
Pretty.
These are perfect.
I once read that winter was the season where we are supposed to admire shapes and silhouettes rather than color (because there isn't much color). These images from your plantation do exactly that. Sweet and beautiful shapes, textures, forms...lovely discoveries.
Gorgeous little things.
I love all the different textures that are going on there.
I am so impressed by your photography skills! These are wonderful.
=)
BEAUTIFUL photos!!
Beauty can be found in many forms. Regenerating plants asleep for the winter is an example of that beauty.
I love the delicate water drops in the last one
Oh wow, Leigh. You are getting better and better every time I click over...these look like something you'd see in a beautiful coffee table book about some tiny little town's forgotten places/treasures....
Gorgeous!
These picture are gorgeous! I love the warmth to them! Well done!
Beautiful, I like the water drops photo best.
THANK YOU for sharing! All so very pretty.
