Love the article. I asked a couple of people I know in the fashion industry in NYC to read and comment. It would be interesting to see their "outsider/insider" perspectives!
Sorry to comment so much but this has struck a cord with me. I posted the link on Facebook and someone just noted that the t-shirt messaging is part of a larger cultural issue... I mean just look at the tv show "Toddlers & Tiaras!"
My name is Leigh and this blog follows my misadventures as a stay at home mom. Read as I juggle housework, motherhood, creativity, and delusions of grandeur. I am inept throwback to the 1950′s housewife, so this blog gives a modern twist to a retro lifestyle. With a focus on the drama and joys of everyday life, sometimes heartfelt but usually hilarious observations unfold. All the while my ignored laundry pile grows by leaps and bounds.

What a hot topic! I'll be back with a comment after I read it!
