52 Weeks of Happiness :: Week 35

DSC_0006-1

This awesome independent book store in Athens
throws all kinds of great local events.

I had yet to make it over there but was so excited
when I meandered that way on Sunday.

They hosted "Beyond the Screens",
a gathering for bloggers in my sleepy little college town.

I didn't have time to make business cards
so I threw together these DIY clothes pin fridge magnets
to hand out to my fellow bloggers.

They were a huge hit,
even though they looked like a 2nd grader made them.

I just loved the little pins that my new bloggy friend Alli made.
They were just so fancy and cute.

A pretty nice size crowd filled the joint
and it was fun to meet my fellow bloggers.

I love being a part of such a great community,
both online and in the real world.

PS Something is wonky with the Linky.
I'm looking into it
but until it gets sorted out
just leave your link in the comments
and I'll add it when the problem is corrected.

Sorry, friends.

Leigh! Your pictures from the event turned out so amazing! I had such a great time and hope we can all do it again soon. I LOVE your clothes pin idea so much and some how between Avid and home I lost mine. And that makes me so sad! And thank you so much for mentioning my buttons! I'm so glad everyone seemed to liked them. See ya soon hopefully!
