I just love stealing a moment to get my haircut.
It's so nice to drop the boys off with my mom
and escape to get a little "me time".

Getting a shampoo is my favorite part.
I get to lean back and let someone else do all the work.
No little people tugging at my dress
or running around being wild.
It's just me and a bowl full of bliss.

Then, to sit and engage in an uninterrupted
adult conversation is like a huge luxury.

Going to the salon is hands down my favorite thing to do. I stretched my last trip out 8 weeks and I'm dying to get in there now. love it.

oh lovely - I hate to get my hair cut - seriously! It makes me so mad every time b/c I don't want to cut anything more than like a centimeter - and she always butchers me! The last time she convinced me to chop over 4 inches telling me it would grow back better - guess what - - IT DID NOT!
Love it Leigh- and I completely agree. Having that adult conversation time- uninterrupted & just time for yourself- is so important! It's time for recharging so we can go back to giving all that we do to our families.

That would've been a super swell way to spend part of the day today! Instead I was treated to more gray hair in the mirror than there was yesterday morning...I know it!
Oh how I love a trip to the salon. I usually make sure I can leave the kiddos at home so I get some "me" time. I'm in dire need of some "me" salon time though. :)
