My weekly column is up!

believe in Santa Claus?
What sort of family traditions
does your family have
to nurture their belief?

Would you perch a sneaky spy on your shelf?

I would, if I had it to do again. I think it's a cute idea!

Getting to the game a little late with the Elf, but now that I've heard so many cute and funny stories...I may have to run out and get one for my kiddos!

My husband is from Venezuela originally so he didn't grow up with a Santa. Instead, "Baby Jesus" would bring gifts for the children and place them by their beds and under the tree in the morning. We do Santa with our children but we also have a "Santa's Workshop" tradition where the children donate some of their toys to Santa to take back to his workshop. We hope this tradition helps shift the focus from just getting to giving too!
Anyway, on my way over now! :)

We have an elf. It helps.

Love donating old toys to Santa's Workshop! I sorta' like the idea of the little old elf sitting on the mantle. Now If I can only get my husband to believe that he shouldn't act naughty because Elf is watching... Well, that's another story.

We don't "do" Santa, but we love Christmas. I've been collecting the elves for a few years, so I love the idea of hiding an elf each night for the kids to find in the morning. Grandkids are coming tonight, so this is a great time to start! Thanks for sharing this cute post.
