I'm so cool.

The other day I was at the mall with my Mom and the boys. We decided to make a pit stop in the "Family Restroom" to powder our noses. As we walked down the tiled hallway towards the restroom, the bathroom door opened and low and behold, Santa Clause walked out. I blurted out as loud as I could "SANTA! IT'S SANTA!!!!" I was genuinely excited. I wasn't excited because I had my kids with me and it was an enchanting moment to see Santa walk out of the can. No, I was unexpectedly stoked to see the dude. Every single person in the hallway (including Santa) jumped and looked at me like I had just yelled "terrorist" at the top of my lungs.

Yeah...that seals the deal, I am so cool. I totally felt like Will Ferrell in the movie Elf.

It was as if a Christmas bug bit my ass or something.

AWESOME! This reminds me of the time I was at our local Walmart. There is a gentleman there who very much looks like Santa on a regular day. From about October on he wears a nametag that says Santa. I don't know why he always makes me smile...guess its childhood memories..he could be a creep or something...but he always makes my Girl giggle and gives her a sticker.

This is a great time of year! ;O)

Does Santa have to pee?? In fact, what does he do when he is delivering those presents on Christmas eve?? Does he pee in your house?? Or is he like those astronauts, with a bag?? I sense a blog post!

Reminds me of a time over the summer when we took the girls to see two of their favorite kiddie singer/entertainers. Funky Mama was singing, but her partner, Mr. Stinky Feet, had left the room. Abby had to go potty, so Hubs took her---TO THE MEN'S ROOM. Abby walked in and yelled, "MR. STINKY FEET!" as she saw him at the urinal. OMG.

I burst into tears at the sight of Santa, The Easter Bunny, Mickey Mouse...etc. It is so exciting to have them there in person for MY kids.

How random is it to see Santa coming out of the restroom....I probably would have reacted the same way.

"Smiling is my favorite"....one of the best Christmas movies ever!

That's so great! I did the same thing last year. I was driving the boys to daycare, and I looked over at the VW Bug that had pulled up next to us, and SANTA WAS DRIVING! I got SO excited! The kids and I started hooting and hollering and waving at the poor guy. Any coolness went right out the window with the excitement of the moment. Hey, you've got to reclaim your inner child whenever you can, right? Cheers and HO HO HO!

That was such a cute scene! And I would get excited if Santa popped out of the bathroom too!

There's a little kid in all of us when we see Santa. I know my inner kid is there. I think it's neat that you got all excited.

I have this theory that there's a man who looks like Santa that works at every Walmart. There was one back home, and now there's one here in Cali.
